Mark Tuckey

Mark Tuckey is an Australian timber furniture company dedicated to creating products that they love and want to live with. Designed with integrity, simplicity and strength, using recycled and sustainably managed timbers. Each piece is custom made at their workshop in Melbourne.

Mark started his business ‘Ancient Modes’ in Melbourne in 1990 with a couple of hundred dollars, a blue F-100 truck, and a desire to be engaged in an environmentally friendly creative endeavour, allowing him to use his head, heart and hands.

In 2006, ‘Ancient Modes’ became MARK TUCKEY.

He lives in Byron Bay where his relaxed, down to earth lifestyle influences every aspect of the pieces designed and created, bringing to life an authentic and quintessential Australian style.
